                               RESOLUTION NO. 20178
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE
                   UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
                   URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR DESIGNATION OF
                   PORTIONS OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AS AN
                   ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to prepare and submit an application to the United States
       Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for designation 

       of portions of the City of Chattanooga as an Enterprise 
Community.
